The Bristol facility will provide Integreon’s law firm and corporate clients with the support services they need to help reduce costs and more easily scale their operations from a location that meets UK Data Protection Act requirements and provides UK clients with an alternative to offshoring. The legal support professionals at Integreon’s Bristol delivery centre include lawyers and paralegals with expertise in a wide range of disciplines, including banking, M&A, litigation and commercial property. Employees at the new Bristol centre will also provide services in multiple languages, including Chinese, French, German, Hindi, Japanese, Korean, Spanish and Turkish.
 
Accenture has entered into an agreement to acquire Neo Metrics Analytics S.L., a leading consulting firm specializing in optimization and predictive analytics based in Madrid, Spain. The acquisition will enable Accenture to further develop advanced analytical models across all industries and business functions including sophisticated models and techniques for pricing optimization, quality management, fraud management and demand forecasting.
 
HCL Technologies plans to hire 10,000 IT pros in the U.S. and Europe by 2017 as part of an effort to diversify its operations beyond its stronghold on the Asian subcontinent. HCL officials said the company needs more workers located at or near the Western clients it serves as it looks to move beyond routine tech services and into higher-end strategy and consulting engagements.
 
The Philippines expects the information technology-business process outsourcing (IT-BPO) industry to employ as many as 1.3 million workers and generate as much as $25 billion in export revenues by 2016, amid an growing anti-outsourcing sentiment in the U.S. The Philippines is already number one in call centers, moving past India. To propel its growth, the local IT-BPO industry is pinning its hopes on four fast-growing outsourcing services, namely, healthcare information management; finance and accounting; human resources; and creative process.
