Aviva to shift work from WNS to Norwich, UK
Aviva is shifting back some work from the outsourcing partner, WNS to its back-office operations in Norwich,UK. The work includes call centre services of Aviva’s motor insurance division. Earlier, WNS acquired captive unit of Aviva Global Services in 2008. Centrica awards $400 million technology migration contract to HP Centrica plc signed a seven year outsourcing contract with HP. The size of the contract is worth $400 million. As per the contract, HP will help Centrica to move to a utility-based private cloud computing environment. Universal Music renews outsourcing contract with ‘buyingTeam’ Universal Music UK renewed a three year outsourcing contract with buyingTeam, Europe’s largest procurement outsourcing specialist. The deal size is estimated to be around $2 million. buyingTeam will provide procurement services such as active cost management and the realisation of resulting savings. Dell Services wins six year IT outsourcing contract from TUI Travel TUI Travel awarded a six year IT outsourcing contract to Dell Services. As per the contract, Dell will provide infrastructure services, cloud-based asset management and hardware services. The services will be offered in the UK, Germany, France, Spain, the Netherlands and Switzerland. Tech Mahindra wins outsourcing contract from Vodafone Tech Mahindra won an IT outsourcing contract from Vodafone, Qatar. As per the contract, Tech Mahindra will provide application development and maintenance, infrastructure management and other services. |
