Wipro Technologies to open centre in Hungary
Wipro Technologies opened a new development centre in Budapest, Hungary. This center will service the transformational program of Magyar Telekom (MT), a subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom. Recently, Wipro won a multi-year transformational deal from MT. Atos Origin renews BPO contract with UK Atos Healthcare renewed a three-year BPO contract with the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP). The size of the deal is estimated to be worth £300m. As per the contract, Atos Healthcare will provide medical advice and assessment services to support the UK Government's welfare. Ness Technologies wins IT outsourcing contract from Leumi Card Ness Technologies won a three-year IT outsourcing contract from Leumi Card, an Israel based company that markets Visa and Master Cards. As per the contract, Ness will operate the Leumi Card help desk centre and provide field services to support Leumi Card's IT systems. The company will also provide SysAid Technologies' SysAid help desk and asset management platform. Genpact wins IT outsourcing contract with Ingram Micro Genpact signed a three-year IT outsourcing contract with Ingram Micro. As per the contract, Genpact will provide an end-to-end IT service desk for infrastructure and application support services. Synnex Corp buys e4e's support divisions Concentrix Corporation, acquired the worldwide technical support, customer service and telesales divisions of e4e, a privately-held BPO company. This business unit, part of e4e’s support divisions, have revenues worth $30 million, with an employee strength of 1,700 people in Bangalore, Chennai, Glasgow, HuntValley, Maryland and Phoenix (Arizona). |
