IBM states 7% decline in services and outsourcing contracts IBM states it signed fewer contracts for computer services than had been anticipated during the third quarter of the 2010. There was a 7% decline in services and outsourcing contracts. ACS acquires TMS Health in USA ACS acquired healthcare teleservices company TMS Health from Palm Beach Capital. The deal was completed on 15 Oct 2010. The acquisition is expected to expand ACS' IT and BPO service offerings to the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries. The financial details of the transactions, which are all based in USA, were not disclosed. Aegis acquires BPO company Actionline in Argentina Aegis acquired BPO company Actionline in Argentina. Aegis plans to tap into the domestic outsourcing market in Latin America with the acquisition. The financial details of the deal were not disclosed. Aegis also plans to triple its headcount in USA by 2011 end. The company, currently has 5,000 people in USA. It plans to increase its current 9 centers to 17 by 2011 end. Covance signs one year agreement with InPhoton Covance signed a one year agreement with InPhoton to provide access to intravital microscopy imaging technology to its clients. Under the deal, the companies will offer services in quantitative molecular imaging, high resolution assays of the physiological effects of drugs, drug distribution and pharmacokinetics, mechanisms and kinetics of renal and hepatic drug clearance. The financial details of the deal were not disclosed. Nokia Siemens and LightSquared get approval for USD 7 billion network deal Nokia Siemens' USD 7 billion network outsourcing deal with LightSquared has been approved by the boards of both the companies.
