Firstsource signs five year outsourcing contract with Barclaycard Firstsource signed a five year outsourcing contract with Barclaycard UK. The two companies have been working together since the last three years. The partnership will start from 01 November 2010. The financial details of the deal were no disclosed. Vodafone outsources wireless tower management to Eaton Towers In its first African network outsourcing deal, Vodafone agreed to contract out its wireless towers in Ghana in order to cut costs. The operations and management of 750 towers for Vodafone Ghana will be taken over by Eaton Towers, which will receive USD 20 million annually as part of the 10 year deal. DZ Bank signs five-year outsourcing deal with Atos Origin DZ Bank signed a five year datacentre and infrastructure services outsourcing deal with Atos Origin. Atos Origin will provide server, storage and database management and backup and archiving services from its Essen and Ratingen in Germany. India seeks German support on outsourcing As part of a high level FICCI business delegation to Germany, Indian Commerce and Industry Minister Anand Sharma will seek German support over the campaign against outsourcing , which is particularly strong in USA. According to FICCI President Rajan Bharti Mittal, efforts will be made to achieve a mutual trade target of EUR 20 billion (USD 31.70 billion) by 2012 from EUR 13 billion (USD 20.63 billion) in 2009. Johnson Control to provide real estate services to Verizon Communications Verizon Communications names Johnson Controls as its real estate services provider for more than 7,000 properties.
