Diligenta buys Unisys Insurance Services (UISL) Diligenta, a subsidiary of TCS acquired the insurance and pension processing business unit of Unisys, Unisys Insurance Services (UISL). UISL provides BPO services to the UK life and pensions industry. Genpact wins outsourcing contract from ICBC Leasing Genpact renewed its outsourcing agreement with ICBC Leasing, a subsidiary of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China. As per the contract, Genpact will strengthen development of ICBC Leasing's financial and IT facilities and facilitate the support of a corporate information system. Firstsource wins outsourcing contract from Axis Bank Firstsource Solutions signed a five-year outsourcing contract with Axis Bank. As per the contract, Firstsource will provide customer contact services including voice, email and web chat to retail customers of the bank. Firstsource will provide these services from its Mumbai and Chennai centre in 11 different Indian languages. ABN renews IT outsourcing contract with IBM, TCS and Infosys ABN Amro renews outsourcing contract for an additional five-years with IBM, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and Infosys Technologies. The size of the deal is estimated to be around USD 1 billion. As per the contract, the companies will manage the bank's software applications and computer hardware systems. Convergys plans to open new centre in Philippines Convergys opened its first BPO contact centre in the Manila, Philippines. This new 139,000 square feet center will employ around 2,400 professionals. With the opening of this centre, Convergys will have an additional five facilities across the country.
