IBM wins IT outsourcing contract from Sunoco
IBM won an IT outsourcing contract from Sunoco, a US based manufacturer and marketer of petroleum and petrochemical products. As per the contract, IBM will offer application support and business process services. The software company will provide these services from its global operation centers. Accenture wins three-year IT outsourcing contract from Norsk Hydro Accenture won a three-year IT outsourcing contract from Norsk Hydro, a Norway based aluminum company. Under the terms of the contract, Accenture will provide application outsourcing services to Hydro users from its Germany and India centers. HP wins USD 135 million outsourcing contract from Alabama Medicaid Agency HP won an eight-year IT outsourcing contract from Alabama Medicaid Agency. The size of the deal is estimated to be around USD 135 million. As per the contract, HP will help the company meet HIPAA requirement; improve healthcare delivery and recipient access to personal healthcare information. ETS awards outsourcing contract to Accenture Educational Testing Service (ETS), the provider of education assessments and psychometric research, awarded a seven-year outsourcing contract to Accenture. The size of the deal is estimated to be USD 160 million. As per the contract, Accenture will provide supply chain services, such as publishing, printing, warehousing, distribution, tracking and shipping of tests and test materials. Wipro wins seven-year outsourcing contract from UCO Bank UCO Bank awarded a seven-year IT outsourcing contract to Wipro. As per the contract, Wipro will implement a core banking solution across 803 branches of regional rural banks. Wipro will build, host and manage the infrastructure of the data centers and provide network management and user training services across 803 branches of UCO bank. |
