TCS opens center in China
TCS opened a new delivery center in Shenzen, China. The company’s total employee count in China will rise to 2,000 with the opening of this center. The center will provide services to customers based in APAC region. WNS Global Services to open new centers WNS Global Services is planning to invest USD 15 million to open new centers in India. Recently, WNS opened a new center in Nasik. The new centers are likely to be set up in Tier II and III cities. Unisys wins IT outsourcing contract from Flowserve Flowserve Corporation, an oil & gas supply manufacturer extended its IT outsourcing contract with Unisys Corporation by another five years. The deal is valued at USD 37 million. The company will provide desk-side support, service desk support in nine languages, equipment maintenance, and installs, moves, add and changes for desktop and laptop PCs, BlackBerry smartphones, servers and printers. Unisys will offer these services to 10,000 employees in more than 50 countries. BT and Avaya sign partnership agreement Avaya and BT signed a partnership agreement for three years. BT will provide consultancy and integration services to support the Avaya product suite. The two companies will provide unified communications services, next-generation contact centers services, and complements BT’s portfolio of networked IT services. Teleperformance buys beCogent Teleperformance Group acquired a UK-based contact center, beCogent. beCogent has around 3,000 employees across four call centers in Airdrie, Erskine, Kilmarnock and Glasgow. With this acquisition, Teleperformance will expand its service base in the UK and become the second largest UK contact center operator. |
