HCL wins outsourcing contract from AMG HCL won a a seven year IT outsourcing contract from Saudi Arabia's Al Majdouie Group (AMG). As per the contract, HCL will create a new data center and disaster recovery center. HCL will also manage AMG's service desk which supports around 1500 users in 100 different locations. CSC renews IT outsourcing contract from MBDA MBDA, a world-leading missile systems company, renewed its IT outsourcing contract with CSC. The contract will last till 2014. As per the contract, CSC will provide IT services such as applications and infrastructure management. AON plans to acquire Hewitt AON is planning to acquire Hewitt Associates Inc, a consulting and outsourcing group. The size of the deal is estimated to be worth $4.9 billion. Aon will re-brand the new entity as Aon Hewitt. For each Hewitt share, Aon will pay $25.61 per share in cash and 0.6362 of its own shares. This brings the value of each share to $50 a share, a 41% premium to Hewitt's closing price Hong Kong Public Libraries awards outsourcing contract to HP Hewlett-Packard HK SAR Ltd won a ten-year outsourcing contract from Hong Kong Public Libraries. As per the contract, HP will provide ongoing support for a new Integrated Library System (ILS). Also, HP will implement Virtua ILS, a unicode-compliant offering from VTLS Inc., at HKPL in 2011. Accenture acquires Acceria Accenture, a global consulting and outsourcing company acquired French industrial consulting firm, Acceria. Acceria is based in Paris and provides after-sales operations to industrial companies. |
