Genpact wins outsourcing contract from Carnation Auto Genpact won a five-year outsourcing contract from Carnation Auto, India based auto sales and service venture. As per the contract, Genpact will provide customer relationship management, finance & accounting, procurement & supply chain management and human resources services. These services will be provided by Genpact's analytics and reengineering team. ACS plans to acquire ExcellerateHRO Affiliated Computer Services (ACS) plans to acquire ExcellerateHRO, LLP (EHRO), a Hewlett-Packard Company providing global benefits administration and relocation services. With this acquisition, ACS will expand its focus on health & welfare and relocation services. Mastek and Genpact sign partnership agreement IT solutions provider, Mastek signed a partnership agreement with the BPO company, Genpact. As per the partnership agreement, Mastek and Genpact will provide information technology and business process management solutions to large and mid-sized insurance carriers. HEROtsc acquires Vodafone call center Scotland based contact center, HEROtsc acquired Warrington based Vodafone call center. The call center will continue to handle calls for Vodafone's customers at the Warrington center. With this acquisition, around 600 employees of Vodafone will be transferred to HEROtsc. Alexander Mann Solutions wins outsourcing contract from Premier Foods Alexander Mann Solutions (AMS), a recruitment company won outsourcing contract from Premier Foods. As per the contract, AMS will coordinate interim employees across all of Premier Foods' 70 locations. CSC wins IT outsourcing contract from Bolero CSC won a ten-year outsourcing contract from London based electronic trading software company, Bolero. As per the contract, CSC will provide managed web hosting service, multi-client web hosting infrastructure and e-business functions to Bolero's 2,000 users. Syntel opens development center near Chennai Syntel Inc. opened a new development center at Siruseri near Chennai. The cost of setting up this center was estimated to be around $50 million. The new center provides seating capacity for over 10,000 professionals. Also, Syntel plans to further expand its operations in Pune and add 4,200 seats along with 1,200 seat training block. Patni opens new center in Texas Patni plans to open a new center in El Paso, Texas. The new center will offer finance and accounting, insurance, technical support and multi-lingual helpdesk services to North American customers. Furthermore, Patni plans to employ around 300 professionals in this center. |
