Genpact plans to acquire Intelenet Global Services
Genpact's 50% stakeholders ,consisting of General Atlantic and other investors, are speculated to be in interested in Intelenet's India business – an acquisition that could be valued at $600-750 million if it goes through. However Blackstone, Intelenet's 80% equity investor, is only interested in selling its stake completely.  This acquisition will help de-risk Genpact's revenues – 40% of which comes from one time parent, General Electric (GE).

Actis acquires around 30% stake in Integreon

Private equity firm Actis has acquired around 30% stake worth $50 million in Integreon which is owned by the Philippines based conglomerate Ayala and provides KPO services. Ayala Corporation now holds an estimated 50% stake and the remaining 20% is held by Integreon employees. Integreon has an estimated 2,000 employees, of which 1,200 are based in India and its revenues have grown at an 83% CAGR since 2006 to a $89 million revenue run rate in Q4 2009.


Dibon acquires ARO Inc.
Dibon BPO Inc., the BPO subsidiary of Dibon Holdings, has acquired ARO Inc. - a Kansas based BPO company. Dibon believes that this strategic fit will enhance it's capability to deliver end-to-end IT & business solutions for the insurance, healthcare and financial services industries.

Firstsource signs BPO deal with UniRush
Firstsource Solutions, an Indian BPO, has signed a three year outsourcing contract with UniRush, a US pre-paid card company. The deal will provide customer services and back-office management for UniRush's e-work division. UniRush believes these services will enhance operational efficiency and reduce risk.

Stream Global Services expands in Philippines
Stream Global Services Inc., a BPO firm partly owned by Ayala Corp., is planning to expand its operations in Philippines by 1,500 seats in the next 60 days. It will open one or two new sites during the first half of the year 2010 with plans to grow to 50,000 within the next three to five years. The company’s Philippine operations contributes about 20% of its global revenues.

Fujitsu wins desktop services outsourcing contract from DWP
Fujitsu beat Hewlett Packard for a service contract which involves around 140,000 desktops with the Department of Work. The contract is estimated at about £330 million over six years and Fujitsu will offer minimum or no maintenance to the kit and ensure reductions in power consumption. The recent strike action by HP staff at DWP over pay and job losses when the trade union Unite collapsed is also cited as the reason behind the decision to change the service provider.

SNS Bank signs letter of intent for outsourcing with BinckBank
BinckBank N.V. will provide execution and administration of securities transactions services for customers of SNS Bank  The implementation of the contract is expected to be finalized by early 2011. SNS Bank's total securities-related process for both investment fund and stock exchange investments will be outsourced. BinckBank Professional Services' platform will be employed by SNS Bank and is expected to provide fast and efficient processing of securities transactions and the ensuing administrative handling for its customers.

Pinnacle Foods signs procurement outsourcing contract with ICG Commerce

Pinnacle Foods Group, a consumer products company has signed a three-year procurement outsourcing contract with ICG Commerce in a bid to reduce costs and drive margin improvement. ICG Commerce will provide spend management services across advertising, logistics, capital equipment, and plant-related supplies and services.

ADP acquires OneClickHR plc.

ADP, a provider of outsourced HR, payroll, employment screening, and time and attendance services, has acquired UK-based OneClickHR plc, a supplier of HR technology solutions to UK-based companies. With this acquisition, ADP expects to strengthen its HR offerings' portfolio in the UK.
