Microsoft forms strategic alliance with arvato Microsoft signed a five-year partnership agreement with media and communications service provider, arvato AG. As per the agreement, arvato will provide services for Commercial Operations, Microsoft Dynamics, Services and OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) divisions. arvato will be using BPM, CRM and data management technology to operate software licensing and distribution, day-to-day invoice processes, partner reward schemes, technical support, customer services and technology deployment. Virtuos buys Grafit Shanghai based video game outsourcing company, Virtuos acquired Russia based concept art specialist studio, Grafit. Currently, Grafit operates a network of concept artists throughout Europe, Russia and Asia. Sparsh BPO starts new delivery center Sparsh BPO Services, the domestic BPO subsidiary of Intelenet Global Services, opened a new delivery center in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. Currently, Sparsh employs 1200 employees in its Dehradun center. Sparsh BPO partnered with an Indian telecom company to open up this center. UTV awards outsourcing contract to IBM UTV Software Communications awarded a five-year outsourcing contract to IBM. As per the contract, IBM will provide IT support to rights management, finance and accounts, projects, material management and procurement services. IBM will also provide India’s first cloud-enabled email system. Capgemini wins outsourcing contract from House of Fraser Capgemini won a seven-year IT outsourcing contract from UK department store, House of Fraser. As per the contract, Capgemini will provide applications support and development, management of data center services, service desk, desktop support and third party services. |
