AstraZeneca awards outsourcing contract to Genpact Pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca awarded a five-year outsourcing deal to Genpact. Genpact will improve AstraZeneca's SAP-based accountancy processes and will provide finance and accounting systems and processes. Genpact will also provide processes affecting procure-to-pay, order-to-cash functions, record-to-report; implement Lean Six Sigma management and development methodology. Indian Railways awards outsourcing contract to L&T Infotech Indian Railways awarded two IT outsourcing contracts to L&T Infotech. As per the contract, L&T Infotech will offer ERP services which includes computerizing the maintenance of rolling assets at Delhi and Lucknow. Infosys wins outsourcing contract from Aircel Infosys won an IT outsourcing contract from mobile operator Aircel, a unit of Malaysia based Maxis. As per the contract, Infosys will provide application platform called Flypp for the telecom operator. DCP Midstream awards $72 m outsourcing contract to ACS DCP Midstream extended a three-year IT outsourcing contract to ACS. The deal is estimated to be worth $72 m. As per the deal, ACS will continue to provide IT infrastructure and desktop support; messaging services; document management; midrange and network services; application services and disaster recovery and security services. Further, ACS will assist DCP with evaluating and implementing new technologies like virtual desktop and provide additional IT services such as Telecommunication Expense Management Services. Syngenta renews outsourcing contract with Capgemini Syngenta, crop protection and seeds producer for the agricultural industry, renewed its outsourcing contract for seven-year with Capgemini UK Plc. As per the contract, Capgemini will provide finance and accounting services and procurement services along with Global Process Model transformation tools and capabilities to deliver market-leading services to Syngenta. |
