Max New York awards outsourcing contract to Genpact
Max New York Life Insurance awarded a three-year outsourcing contract to Genpact. This contract is a part of their internal restructuring exercise. Around 100 employees of Max New York Life Insurance will be transferred to Genpact. As per the contract, Genpact will remind the customers for payment of renewal premium and record the client's complaints.
   
CNRS awards outsourcing contract to Capgemini, Logica and Bull
Capgemini Sud SAS, subsidiary of Capgemini Group, Logica and Bull won six-year outsourcing contract from CNRS, the French National Center for Scientific Research. The deal is estimated to be worth €48 m. As per the contract, the IT service providers will provide applications management and IT systems for finance and accounting activities, human resources and salary management system for the center.
   
ATOC extends outsourcing contract with Capgemini
Capgemini renewed outsourcing contract from the Association of Train Operating Companies (ATOC). The deal is estimated to be worth £18.5 m and extends from 2009-2019. As per the contract, Capgemini will provide IT support to the UK's National Rail Reservation System and replace the existing IBM and HP hardware.
   
Wipro and O2 Germany forms strategic partnership
Wipro Technologies formed strategic partnership with Telefonica O2 Germany. As per the partnership, Wipro will offer Test Analysis, Management and Execution, Deployment and Integration and Implementation Management services for the testing IT stack of O2.
   
Zenta to hire 1,000 employees in Charlotte
Zenta plans to hire 1,000 employees in the next five years in its Charlotte, North Carolina center. Currently, the company has 250 employees in this center.
   
ExlService to set up centers in Noida and Jaipur
ExlService Holdings plans to open two new centers in Noida and Jaipur. The company will invest around $11 m in these centers. The Noida center will have 900 seats with a capacity of 1,600 employees while the Jaipur center will have 450 employees. Further, ExlService plans to open center in Romania by 2010.
