Capita acquires Synetrix
Capita Group Plc acquired Synetrix for £75 m. With this acquisition, Capita will expand its expertise in IT services. Synetrix provides IT application and communications solutions.

InterGlobe Technologies opens new center
InterGlobe Technologies opened a new delivery center in Manila, Philippines. This new 500 seater center will provide travel and hospitality processes. This will be the first BPO in the Philippines to provide travel and hospitality processes. IGT further plans to open delivery centers in Poland, Spain, Romania and Brazil.

IBM wins outsourcing contract from Tory council and Digicable
IBM won a eight-year outsourcing deal worth £5 b from Conservative council. As per the deal, IBM will manage and provide public services to Tory Council. In another development, IBM won a ten-year outsourcing deal from Indian cable and broadband distribution firm Digicable. The deal is estimated to be worth $83 m. IBM will provide digital media content delivery and value-added services.

GlaxoSmithKline awards outsourcing contract to HCL AXON
HCL AXON won a five-year IT outsourcing contract from pharmaceutical company, GlaxoSmithKline. As per the deal, HCL AXON will provide SAP implementation, systems integration and IT consulting services.

L&T Infotech partners with Savvion
L&T Infotech signed a partnership agreement with Savvion. With this partnership, L&T Infotech will provide Business Process Management  solutions like business process modeling, implementation and integration solutions and services .
