Intelligent Processing Solutions renews outsourcing contract from Lloyds TSB, Barclays and HSBC
Intelligent Processing Solutions Limited (iPSL), a UK based joint venture subsidiary of Unisys Corporation has renewed a five year outsourcing contract from Lloyds TSB, Barclays and HSBC. The contract is estimated to be around £UK315 m ($US500 m).As per the contract, iPSL will provide cheque and credit clearing services for these banks.
Capgemini to open new center
Capgemini plans to open a new center for its business information management unit in India. The new center will employ 1,000 specialists. Currently, Capgemini has around 20,000 employees in India.
Wipro wins outsourcing contract from DIAL
Wipro won a 10 year IT outsourcing contract from Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) for the Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) in New Delhi. As per the contract, Wipro will provide IT infrastructure to the IGI airport’s new terminal. Also, Wipro and DIAL formed a joint venture named Wipro Airport IT Services Limited.
TCS wins outsourcing contract from Cardiff Council
TCS won a 15 year outsourcing contract from Cardiff Council. As per the deal, TCS will support IT infrastructure services and help the Council to improve its service delivery.
Mahindra Satyam wins Saab deal
Mahindra Satyam won a five year IT outsourcing contract from Saab, a Sweden based defense and aerospace company. The size of the deal is estimated to be worth $300 m. As per the contract, Mahindra Satyam will provide technology maintenance and engineering services which will enable them to jointly address the Battlefield Management System (BMS) for the Indian Army.
