Atos Origin bags IT outsourcing contract for 2016 Olympic Games Atos Origin bagged an IT outsourcing contract for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. As per the contract, Atos Origin will provide the relay of information about athletes and competition results. TPI wins IT advisory contract from the City of Houston TPI won an IT advisory contract from the City of Houston. As per the contract, TPI will advise on reducing cost and improving service deliveries such as outsourcing, in-sourcing and hybrid sourcing strategies to the City of Houston. Aegis buys Ismart Timex Aegis bought 80% stake in Ismart Timex, a Sri Lanka based outsourcing service provider. Ismart Timex offers contact centre and back office support services. With this acquisition, Aegis will have a total of 35 delivery centers across the world. HCL bags IT outsourcing contract from Fortis Healthcare HCL Infosystems won a five year IT outsourcing contract from Fortis Healthcare. As per the deal, HCL will install software solutions for Fortis Hospitals and provide IT systems and processes. Aditya Birla Minacs won a contract from Idea Cellular Aditya Birla Minacs won a five year outsourcing contract from Idea Cellular. The deal is estimated to be worth INR 6 bn. As per the deal, Aditya Birla Minacs will offer voice based services to Idea Cellular. Aditya Birla Minacs has around 2,000 employees providing services to Idea Cellular and it further plans to add another 2,500 employees by March 2010. |
