Wipro wins contract from Fosters; forms alliance with Lavasa Wipro Technologies won an IT outsourcing contract worth $100 m from Fosters, an Australian beverage company. As per the contract, Wipro will support data centers, IT infrastructure and IT application and provide telephone, online and field staff services to Fosters. Wipro also signed a partnership agreement with Lavasa Corporation, a subsidiary of the Hindustan Construction Company (HCC). As per the agreement, Wipro will manage city system & services, e-governance, IT infrastructure, intelligent home solutions, and voice video data services for Lavasa. SFR awards IT outsourcing contract to Steria SFR, a French telecommunications company, awarded a four year IT outsourcing contract, worth €100 m to Steria. As per the deal, Steria will maintain the entire IT system of SFR. Steria will maintain the IT production including front office applications and back office support work. HCL wins outsourcing deal from Fortis Healthcare Fortis Healthcare awarded a five year outsourcing deal to HCL Technologies. As per the deal, HCL will provide IT services to Fortis Healthcare. Zensar wins outsourcing contract from Jetstar Airways Zensar Technologies won outsourcing contract from Jetstar Airways. Zensar will provide IT services and business process outsourcing services to Jetstar Airways. Capgemini bags IT contract from Dutch Ministry of Agriculture Capgemini won a five year IT outsourcing contract from Dutch Ministry of Agriculture at an estimated value of $71 m. As per the deal, Capgemini will provide data storage, fixed telephony, coordination over mobile telephony, distributed print services and automation of the central networking and server infrastructure to the Ministry. British Petroleum awards deal to multiple vendors TCS, Infosys, Wipro, IBM and Accenture won a five year IT outsourcing contract from British Petroleum (BP) worth $1.5 b. As per the deal, IBM and Accenture will manage BP’s IT enterprise applications and TCS, Infosys and Wipro will provide application development and application maintenance (ADAM) services to BP. |
