Infosys BPO partners with MortgageFlex
Infosys BPO partnered with MortgageFlex Systems, a US based mortgage service provider. The alliance will develop a unique solution for loan modification. This solution will provide document review, underwriting modifications, payment plan creation and closing services.

IBM renews IT outsourcing contract from UK Ministry of Defence
UK Air Surveillance extended a five year outsourcing deal to IBM at an estimated value of £23 m. The deal is an extension of a deal signed in 2001. As per the deal, IBM will manage UK air surveillance and command control system (UCCS) and provide support to training, helpdesk, IT services and onsite assistance.

Ranger International buys US Logistics
Ranger Aerospace, a private equity consolidator, acquired government outsourcing contractor, US Logistics, Inc. The new company will be called Ranger International Services. This acquisition will help Ranger International Services Group to increase their government services capacity.

First Data buys CashAxcess
First Data, a US based provider of merchant processing services, acquired CashAxcess, a South African ATM deployment company. With the acquisition, First Data will expand its presence in South Africa. In another deal, First Data awarded a deal to Mvelaserve for this acquisition. Mvelaserve will takeover CashAxcess’ network of 200 ATMs and provide outsourced ATM services such as signage, ATM monitoring, equipment insurance, sales and marketing, wireless GPRS communication, ATM delivery and installation, cash management and replenishment services, and training services.

Accenture bags outsourcing contract from Scandinavian Airlines
Accenture won a seven year F&A outsourcing contract from Scandinavian Airlines. As per the contract, Accenture will provide accounts receivable, accounts payable and accounting to reporting across 14 countries of SAS.
