HP wins outsourcing contract from MLP Hewlett-Packard (HP) won a six year IT outsourcing contract from MLP, a Germany based financial and investment advisory company. As per the contract, HP will control applications supporting business development functions. These applications include document management, business intelligence, customer relationship management and custom JavaTM applications. Invensys awards HR outsourcing contract to NorthgateArinso NorthgateArinso won a seven year contract worth $58 m from Invensys, a UK based global technology group. As per the contract, NorthgateArinso will provide HR and payroll processing services to Invensys. NorthgateArinso will also provide the company's standard HR solution, euHReka to Invensys. Stream Global and EGS Corporation plans to merge Philippines based EGS Corporation and US outsourcing service provider, Stream Global Services are planning to merge. The new company will be called Stream Global Services with combined employee strength of around 30,000 people. TechM opens a new center in Chandigarh Tech Mahindra (TechM) has opened a new outsourcing center in Chandigarh (India). The new 1000-seater facility is TechM’s second center in Chandigarh. Airtel to outsource network maintenance work Bharti Airtel, the Indian telecom service provider, is planning to outsource its maintenance and management of inter-city optic fiber cable network. The size of the deal is estimated to be around $500 m for over a five year period. RR Donnelley won outsourcing from BT RR Donnelley & Sons won an outsourcing contract from British Telecom. As per the deal, RR Donnelley will manage the downstream supply chain of BT and provide color TransPromo capabilities, multi-channel delivery and enhanced personalization; data processing; fulfillment; postal and printing optimization. |
