AMP renews IT contract with CSC AMP, a Australian wealth management company, renewed its IT contract worth $99.5 m with CSC for six years. The contract is an extension of the contract signed in 1993. As per the contract, CSC will offer infrastructure management services and IT security to AMP. Genpact bags outsourcing contract from Huntsman Huntsman, a global manufacturer and marketer of differentiated chemicals, awarded a five year financial services contract to Genpact. As per the contract, Genpact will provide accounts payable services in Europe, North America, and Asia Pacific. Patni opens a new center in London Patni Computer Systems opened a new center in Heathrow (London). This facility will help Patni to expand its operations in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. CPA Global to open new facility in India CPA Global, a US based LPO plans to set up a new facility in India by the end of 2009. This will be CPA's third facility in India. This center intends to employ 1,450 professionals in the next two years. Currently, CPA has two centers in India, located in Noida and Gurgaon with a total of 550 employees. TriNet acquires Gevity TriNet Group, Inc., a provider of human resources (HR) outsourcing services, acquired Gevity, a US based HR outsourcing company. The size of the deal is valued at $98 m. Exigen Services buys Taihoo Technologies Exigen Services, a US based IT company acquired Taihoo Technologies, a China based software services provider. The new group will be known as Exigen Services China. This acquisition will widen Exigen's operations in Asia. SSTL awards IT contract to IBM MTS India, the mobile telephony services of Sistema Shyam TeleServices Limited (SSTL) awarded IT contract to IBM. As per the contract, IBM will design and build two green data centers in Gurgaon and Chennai. |
