Aegis BPO acquires UCMS Group Aegis BPO acquired Australia-based UCMS Group, a BPO company for $40.7 m. With this acquisition, Aegis BPO will expand its operations in Australia. UCMS Group has shifted 2,000 of its employees to Aegis BPO. Wipro BPO enters strategic alliance Wipro BPO has partnered with Oracle and Hackett Group to develop HR platform solution, simPlifyTM. Hackett Group and Oracle will provide performance and benchmarking metrics while Wipro BPO will leverage its HR delivery capability for building the platform. RT Outsourcing opens a new subsidiary RT Outsourcing opened a new subsidiary (called RT Technical Services) in Singapore to expand its operations in APAC region. The new entity will provide reverse logistics solutions. TCS to open new facility in Lucknow TCS has opened a new development center in Lucknow, India. The new 1500-seat facility will support the e-governance initiatives and provide software solutions for global firms. TechM to open new center in Kolkata Tech Mahindra will open a new BPO unit in Kolkata. The new 500-seat center will hire 1,000 IT professionals.  Tech Mahindra has four BPO units in India and two offshore centers in Belfast and Newcastle.
