ACULIS acquires center in India ACULIS, a US-based software services provider, acquired an offshore development center in Chennai, India. The new center will be named ACULIS India Private Ltd. The center will provide software development, testing solutions, globalization engineering and localization testing of software applications across multiple platforms, disciplines and languages. ChemDiv Group buys Prudentas ChemDiv Group acquired Russia-based contract research organization (CRO) company, Prudentas. The acquisition was primarily made due to the increase in clinical trials in Eastern Europe and rising demand from the Eurasia market. Delta Air Lines closes contract with Wipro BPO Delta Air Lines cancelled its outsourcing contract with Wipro BPO due to the customer’s feedback. The contract was signed in 2002 and the deal size was estimated to be around $15-30 m per annum. BMW Group extends IT outsourcing contract to Accenture The BMW Group awarded a five year IT outsourcing deal to Accenture. As part of the deal, Accenture will provide application operations service providers in areas including production, sales, logistics, finance and human resources. Xstrata Queensland awards outsourcing contract to Mincom Xstrata Queensland awarded IT outsourcing contract to Mincom. As per the contract, Mincom will provide managed services, IT applications, including Mincom Ellipse, and IT operations. |
