Ingram Micro extends IT outsourcing contract with ACS Ingram Micro has signed a 5-year outsourcing contract with ACS for providing IT application and infrastructure services. As per the contract, ACS will provide network support and engineering services, management of midrange, mainframe, desktop and enterprise storage operations as well as helpdesk services. BancTec acquires Document@Work Document@Work, a BPO service provider offering data capture services has been acquired by BancTec. With this acquisition, BancTec plans to expand its BPO operations in France and strengthen its position as a provider of document processing services. The financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed. Quatrro BPO on acquisition spree Quatrro BPO has set aside $300 m for acquisitions. The company is eyeing legal process outsourcing, healthcare, financial services and insurance outsourcing companies. It has finalized a $100 m deal (the company name not disclosed) to be completed by March 2009. BT awards IT outsourcing contract to Convergys BT has awarded a 5-year IT outsourcing contract to Convergys for providing support to BT’s divisions, namely, BT Retail, BT Wholesale, and BT Global Services. As per the contract, the company will provide the Infinys’ Rating and Billing Manager solution and will assist BT employees with hardware configuration, performance and software architecture. Infosys Technologies partners with Sterling Commerce Infosys Technologies has partnered with Sterling Commerce, an AT&T Inc company to expand their customer base in the financial and retail sector. Infosys’ global delivery capability and expertise in implementation and Sterling Commerce’s expertise in enterprise integration solution, payments management solution and sales solution is expected to benefit both the companies. Adecco bags a multi-year RPO deal Adecco has been awarded a multi-year RPO contract from the Corporate Executive Board. As per the contract, Adecco will provide a solution for recruiting sales executives globally for Corporate Executive Board. Collecto completes acquisition of RCC Collecto Inc., an accounts receivable outsourcing company has acquired Rochester Credit Center, Inc. (RCC), a full-service collection agency. RCC offers collection services to customers in the healthcare, municipal governments, higher education, utilities and telecommunications segments. Related Items:
