Airtel restructures its contract with BPOs Airtel is restructuring its outsourcing contract by making the vendors more accountable for performance. As per the contract the focus will be on outcome rather than time spent on the call. The six BPOs that provide and manage all inbound voice operations to Airtel call centers include Mphasis, Teleperformance, Aegis, Hinduja TMT, IBM Daksh and First Source. Continuum Solutions to merge with CFC India Services After the acquisition of Countrywide Financial Corporation by Bank of America, the Indian subsidiary CFC India Services and Continuum Solutions, subsidiary of BankAm will be merged . Post- merger, CFC India will offer services to BankAm customers. ITC Infotech buys Pyxis Solutions for $25 m Pyxis Solutions, US-based provider of software quality assurance and testing services has been acquired in an all cash deal of $25 m by ITC Infotech. With the acquisition, ITC Infotech will have a footprint in the US, expand its capabilities and enhance its client base. Infosys to acquire Axon Axon, a SAP consultant based in the UK will be bought in an all cash deal for £407.1 m by Infosys. This strategic alliance will enhance Infosys capabilities in the transformational services market. Singapore Airlines extends contract with TCS Singapore Airlines Cargo has extended its Cargo Revenue Accounting contract to TCS by 5 years.
