NWP extends contract with Accenture NWP Services Corporation (NWP) has renewed its 10-year outsourcing agreement with Accenture for an additional three years. The deal involves software development and support, infrastructure operations and Web development services with respect to the customer care and billing information functions of NWP. SAP Americas signs contract with Yoh Talent Solutions Yoh Talent Solutions, a part of the Day & Zimmermann Group of Philadelphia has signed a contract with SAP Americas to recruit, hire and mange the contract workers at its Newtown Square, Pa(USA), SAP Labs (USA), SAP Global Marketing Inc.( Canada) and Business Objects SA (Latin America). British Telecom awards KPO contract to Pipal Research Firstsource Solutions subsidiary, Pipal Research has won a $15 million contract to provide KPO services to British Telecom Global Services (BTGS) for a period of three years. The deal which involves market research and analytics could be extended to 6 years and the contract value could exceed $30 m if certain milestones are achieved. Accenture to develop BPO course for IGNOU With the growth in the BPO segment, Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has tied up with Accenture Services to offer one-year diploma course in BPO. The course will impart intensive training in various disciplines including computing and communication skills required for the BPO sector. Deregistration of Access Worldwide stock Access Worldwide Communications Inc, a Virginia-based BPO is planning to deregister its stock from the Over the Counter Bulletin Board (the "OTCBB") and may list on Pink OTC Market ("Pink Sheets"). The company believes that this will help in reducing the high costs of compliance particularly Sarbanes-Oxley and use management time and resources more effectively to administer the company and increase shareholder value. |
