Etech Inc. opens a new facility in Gandhinagar
Texas-based Etech Inc. plans to expand its voice based BPO operations in Gandhinagar. The company bought an office in InfoCity, Gandhinagar and plans to hire 5,000 people over the next 12 to 118 months. Etech aims to earn $100 m revenues in the next three years.
   
HDFC Bank sets up BPO in Tirupati
ADFC, a subsidiary of HDFC Bank has opened a rural BPO in Tirupati. The BPO currently employs 500 people. This is a social initiative by the bank to increase employment opportunities in the villages.
    
Infosys BPO expands operations in Jaipur
Infosys BPO plans to invest Rs 5,310 m for building its second center in Jaipur. The Phase-1 has a seating capacity of 3,200 people on a built up area of 369,100 square feet. Infosys has tied up with engineering colleges in Rajasthan to increase employment opportunities.
    
MYNL awards $450 m contract to IBM India
Max New York Life (MYNL) has awarded a 10-year IT outsourcing contract to IBM. As per the contract, IBM will provide back-end IT infrastructure to MYNL.With this deal, MYNL aims to reach out to the semi urban and rural areas.
    
SatNav partners with RT Outsourcing  
SatNav Technologies, GPS technology provider has partnered with RT outsourcing. With this partnership, RT outsourcing will offer tech support to the customers of SatNav.
