Adventity and Fostera cooperate to start rural BPO in Krishnagiri
Adventity in cooperation with Fostera, a rural BPO firm backed by the Tamil Nadu District Administration has set up a rural BPO in Krishnagiri. The unit will offer data conversion services and have an initial headcount of 100. Adventity intends to set up similar BPOs in other 'Class B' cities in the future.
    
Genpact and NIIT partner to start IT training centre
Genpact and NIIT have partnered to form the NIIT Institute of Process Excellence. The institute will provide training in business process services. NIIT has 75% stake while Genpact has 25% stake in the JV involving an initial investment of $5.8 m (Rs 250 m). NIIT will impart training and Genpact will offer internship and jobs.
      
Visionet witnesses rapid growth moves to new facility in Bangalore
Visionet has shifted to a new facility in Bangalore. The company is experiencing rapid growth in its Mortgage BPO operations. Major growth is in the high value knowledge services like high cost lending auditing, tax searches, title policy production and loan boarding.
      
BPOMS to offer HRO services to Tectura
BPO Management Services (BPOMS) has entered into a strategic agreement with Tectura Cor, a Microsoft partner. As per the contract BPOMS will offer HRO services via its product called Hradvocate to Tectura's customers in North America.
