WNS Holdings likely to acquire Aviva Global Services 
WNS Holdings has reportedly made an offer of $200 m and is the highest bidder for Aviva Global Services. The deal involves acquiring Aviva's captive unit and guaranteed business from Aviva for a five-year tenure.  
   
Genpact, EXLService looking to acquire InfoVision  
Genpact, EXLService and some buyout funds are reported to be in discussions to acquire a majority stake in InfoVision, a domestic BPO. InfoVision is valued at around $100 m.  
    
Spanco looking to acquire KPO  
Spanco BPO is on the lookout for acquisitions in the KPO space. The budget for the buyout is set at $24 m. The company plans to enter the capital market in the next 1.5 to 2 years to raise funds. Spanco intends to invest approximately $71 m to upgrade its domestic call center units. It plans to set-up BPO centers in Chennai and Jaipur and other tier-2 and tier-3 cities.  
    
Hexaware makes new appointments  
P.R Chandrasekar has succeeded Rusi Brij as the CEO and vice chairman of Hexaware Technologies. Brij will assume the post of vice chairman and board member. Chandrasekar was formerly employed at Wipro as the president for America and Europe region. Prateek Aggarwal has replaced P.K. Sridharan as the CFO. Aggarwal was formerly working at HCL Technologies as head of finance, software division.  
    
Global BPO services to sell preferred stock to Ares for $150 m  
Global BPO Services Corp. has entered into a deal to sell 150,000 preference shares for $150 m to Ares Management LLC. The preference shares can be converted into common shares at the end of two years at $8 per share. The proceeds from the sale will be used by Global BPO to buy 20,625,001 shares of its outstanding common stock at $8 per share following the closure of Stream Holdings Corporation's acquisition.  
    
Drishti BPO sets up unit in rural Bihar  
A rural BPO unit by Drishti BPO has been set up in Saurath village, Madhubani district in Bihar. This is the first rural BPO to be set up in Bihar.
