SunTrust and Symcor sign outsourcing contract 
SunTrust has signed an outsourcing deal with Symcor. As per the contract effective from August 2008, Symcor will manage statement generation, check and payment processing. SunTrust will terminate 1,554 jobs of which 1500 will be moved to Symcor.  
   
EXL Service reorganizes top management  
EXL Service Holdings recently reorganized its top management to implement its succession plans. Previous vice-chairman and CEO Vikram Talwar will now be the Executive Chairman. Former CEO Rohit Kapoor has been appointed CEO and president and Pavan Bagai, has been appointed as COO. 
    
Fidelity's HRO unit to target the mid market HR BPO segment  
The HR unit of Fidelity, Fidelity Human Resources Services intends to target the mid-market HR BPO customers with the first contract likely to be signed by end 2008. Fidelity may also acquire a HRO provider for further expansion. 
    
ADP wins HR BPO contract from Scripps  
ADP has won an outsourcing contract from the media corporation, The E. W. Scripps Company (Scripps). As per the contract ADP will offer HR, payroll, pre-employment, benefits and related services to Scripps 9000 employees.  
    
LexisNexis to cut 290 jobs  
LexisNexis plans to outsource 290 jobs as a part of its re-organisation drive. Almost 215 of the reductions will be from the Dayton area mainly from the business software and editorial system units. The jobs will be cut in 2008 or early 2009.  
    
ANZ to move 500 jobs to Bangalore  
ANZ National will shift 500 processing and operational jobs from New Zealand to Bangalore, India by 2009. The company increases headcount in New Zealand by 800 each year and is confident of re-employing staff affected by the move.  
    
Conseco signs outsourcing contract with Infosys  
Infosys Technologies has won a five-year outsourcing deal from Conseco. As per the contract Infosys will offer will offer application development and maintenance services to Conseco.
