Tracking and Update Process

As part of their daily tasks, the ValueNotes Outsourcing Practice team already manages a process to identify, capture, synthesize and organize information about BPOs and IT service companies. [Though this is not comprehensive in coverage yet, the process is in place, and we have a program to keep adding new vendors/sources to the process].

Every working day, our analysts scan available news/data sources, and extract relevant pieces into structured data templates that can be used by the entire team. For instance, some of the templates we maintain on a regular basis include:

Company templates
List of all M&As in the BPO space
List of all announced capacity expansions in the BPO space
List of all venture capital/private equity investments into BPO companies
List of all large contracts
Industry (vertical) or service line data such as market size, growth, trends, projections, drivers, inhibitors, etc. – for select services/verticals.
Lists of updated contact information of executives of service providers
