Dedicated Team and Domain Knowledge

Unlike several other research companies, ValueNotes has a specialized, dedicated team for researching the services “outsourcing” space. This provides several benefits to The Client:

Familiarity with subject matter: Our analysts have worked on multiple studies for clients and our own publications in the BPO and IT services outsourcing space. More than three-fourths of our analysts have been exposed to projects in the BPO and/or IT services space.

Knowledge of sources of information: Our analysts are aware of the most useful data sources for tracking outsourcing companies, and this is continually being updated.

Relationships with service providers: We have and continue to systematically develop contacts/relationships with a large number of service providers. While these relationships are primarily (today) with Indian providers, they also include the Indian operations of various multinational providers. Our continuing research activities in the IT/BPO space enable us to constantly enhance and refresh these relationships, as well as expand our knowledge base geographically.

Existing Database & Knowledge: During the past 30 months, we have collected data on/analyzed/profiled an estimated 500+ third party IT/BPO/KPO vendors, as well as more than 350 captives. These have been a result of our own “BPO profiles” publication, industry (vertical) reports, or custom assignments done for a variety of clients. These vendors cover a wide geographical spectrum and include companies in the US, UK, India, Philippines, China, Malaysia, Eastern Europe and Russia. Besides this we have completed a large number of research projects and reports relevant to the outsourcing space.
