Brown-Wilson Group ranks Integreon as the global LPO and KPO provider The Brown-Wilson Group's 2006 “Black Book of Outsourcing” survey ranked Integreon Managed Solutions as the global top-ranked provider of KPO and LPO services, The other nine KPO providers on the list were Evalueserve, Adventity, OfficeTiger, EXL Service, Nipuna, Irevna, Meritus, marketrX and O2i. Xansa bagged F&A outsourcing contract from BBC Xansa (LSE:XAN.L) became BBC's offshore BPO partner by signing a 10 year finance and accounting contract worth 85m pounds. The talks regarding this deal had begun in the month of October. BBC hopes to save more than 200m pounds over the 10 year period. TCS bags outsourcing contract from US pharma company Eli Lilly Under this multiyear deal, TCS will provide software services, clinical trial data management, statistical analysis and medical writing to Eli Lilly. Although the industry sources estimate the deal value to be in the range of $30 to 35m, TCS officials declined to comment on the deal size. Spanco will soon establish call centre for railway enquiry After receiving the final letter of intent from IRCTC, Spanco Telesystems and BSNL have tied up for launching a call centre for the railways enquiry system. They would work on a revenue sharing model. The railway enquiry systems is said to receive more than 1.5 million calls a day. Genpact has the largest workforce amongst BPOs Genpact has emerged as the biggest employer amongst BPOs with the headcount of 19,700, according to a latest study. Accenture (NYSE:ACN), which employs 19,000 people, was the second highest employer in BPO space. The Indian BPO and ITes segment is projected a 38.5 per cent growth for the year 2005-06. 24/7 Customer plans for Nasdaq listing Bangalore-based 24/7 Customer is planning for a likely $250-million initial public offer (IPO) on Nasdaq. The outsourcing service provider is likely to get listed by June 2007. 24/7 Customer generated revenues of $70 million for the financial year ended March 2006. With delivery centres in India, Philippines and Guatemala, the company boasts of an employee strength of over 7,000 people. Related Items: |
