CAE and CGI sings ITO contract
 
Canada based CAE (flight Simulators Company) and CGI have signed a 10-year contract IT outsourcing contract for $200 million. CGI will provide IT support services, information systems development, systems integration services and application services to CAE.  
    
Airbus to increase outsourcing
 
Airbus, Europe based airplane maker is planning to increase its outsourcing from the current 20-25 % to more than 50% of its work. The A350 model will be the first to get outsourced. Boost in outsourcing will help the company adopt advanced technology, reduce costs and lessen foreign currency risk.  
    
Zenta to list on US bourses
 
Zenta is looking forward to enter the capital market. Having a strong support of US-based private equity player GTCR Golder Rauner, the company is planning to list on the US stock exchanges by June 2008. The company recently merged three of its subsidiaries to create a single unit and has a total turnover of about $100 million.  
    
Banco Sabadell signs outsourcing contract with HP

Spain based banking group, Banco Sabadell is likely to sign a 10-year outsourcing contract with HP for amount of €80 million. Under this, HP will look after the management and routine development of Banco Sabadell's IT infrastructure. For this, HP is likely to purchase Netfocus (IT division owned by Banco Sabadell and Siemens), which will help the company to provide advanced security solutions and services. The agreement covers three-year service commitment to reduce the bank's maintenance and printing costs.  
    
GTL's BPO unit on the block  

GTL is likely to put its BPO unit on the block to concentrate more on the telecom business. The company has already placed its Enterprise Networks and Managed Services business on sale. GTL has generated net revenue of over $280 mn and a net profit of $24 mn in FY07 from its network services provided to the telecom sector. GTL has two BPO centers in India with total seating capacity of 1500.
