MphasiS to offer services to Bharti MphasiS has a new business process outsourcing facility in Pondicherry, which will be offering contact centre services for Bharti Airtel. This will be MphasiS' fourth unit rendering services to the mobile telecom firm. Reuters to outsource its IT functions Reuters has signed a £500m IT outsourcing contract with Fujitsu Services. As per the contract, Fujitsu Services will provide Reuters with a standardized IT platform. With this contract, Reuters aims to significantly reduce its IT service delivery costs. Neilsoft eyes the domestic construction sector Neilsoft, an engineering design outsourcing service provider plans to offer design services to the domestic construction sector. The company is looking to diversify into new areas and focus on newer geographies and is building capabilities in the construction and transportation sectors. First Magnus to discontinue offshoring First Magnus Financial Corp plans to discontinue offshoring to WNS. The decision is a result of the crisis in the US sub-prime lending market. First Magnus is one of the key mortgage clients for WNS and the loss of this client is likely to impact the revenues of WNS for the fiscal 2008. JSoft Solutions inaugurates 100-seater non-voice BPO at Bellary JSoft Solutions, software division of JSW Group inaugurated a 100-seater non-voice BPO unit at Bellary. This will give 300 jobs to locals and progress to a BPO voice with a 1,000-seater operation. The company also plans to set up a 300-seater non-voice BPO center will be set up near Toranagallu by January 2008. Firstsource sets up a center in Indore Firstsource has set up a 450-seater facility in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. The company has already started operations at the new center, which is the 15th development center of the company. Kforce starts an offshore facility in the Philippines Kforce Inc has set up its BPO center, Kforce Global Solutions in the Philippines. Kforce acquired Provident Computer Consultants Inc., an outsourcing provider and a subsidiary of US-based Pinkerton Computer Consultants Inc. Related Items: |
