LPO association Around 21 members got together and elected a five-member Steering Committee for forming the first India LPO association. The meeting was held at New Delhi on July 28th. The first general meeting of the association is scheduled for December this year. Secova targets $100 mn income by 2010 Secova eServices, which offers benefits administration services to the US firms, has targeted revenues of $100 million by 2010. In the coming one year, the company plans to expand from its existing 300 manpower strength to 450-500. Sparsh BPO Services reports slump in Q2 net profit Sparsh BPO Services announced its un-audited financial results for Q2 2007.The company reported Rs.11.68 million ($267,952) profit after taxes as against Rs.27.67 million ($634,780) for the quarter ended March 31, 2007; total Income was Rs.314.67 million ($7.21 million) as against Rs.264.23 million (6.06 million) for the quarter ended March 31, 2007. Unisys-Rabobank contract renewed The Netherlands based financial services provider, Rabobank, extended its contract for two additional years with Unisys Corporation (NYSE:UIS). Unisys Payment Services and Solutions, a subsidiary of Unisys Corporation offers paper-based payment transactions services for Rabobank. Fuji Xerox Australia buys KAZ BPO The BPO division of KAZ has been acquired by Fuji Xerox Australia. KAZ is the IT services arm of Telstra. Fuji Xerox Australia plans to integrate KAZ BPO into Fuji Xerox Global Services which will offer an entire gamut of outsourced services primarily to the Australian market. Steria buys out Xansa Steria, a French IT services provider announced its plans to acquire UK-based Xansa for £472 million. Xansa reported revenues of £380 million for FY 2007. With this acquisition Steria will acquire a strong presence in the UK. |
