CSC bags 10 year, $149 mn outsourcing deal from Water Corp.
 
CSC, California-based IT services provider bagged a 10-year, $149 million IT services contract from Water Corporation (WC), an Australian water services provider. The contract has six years base period with four yearly extension options. As per the contract, CSC offers IT-support services to WC for a range of existing applications. .  
    
Anglo American and BT HP Alliance sign $450 million outsourcing contract
 
Anglo American, U.K-headquartered mining firm, awarded BT HP Alliance with $450 million, 7-year outsourcing contract to consolidate and integrate entire IT infrastructure of Anglo American, under a two-year global transformation program. As per the agreement, BT HP alliance will offer data center operations, managing voice services and end-user workplace environment.
    
Astron re-branded as RR Donnelley Global Document Solutions
 
R.R. Donnelley & Sons Company (NYSE:RRD) re-branded Astron, which was acquired in 2005 as RR Donnelley Global Document Solutions. RR Donnelley Global Document Solutions operates in 15 countries providing document management and BPO solutions.  
    
HCL BPO awarded 5-year contract by LexisNexis 

HCL BPO Services bagged a five-year BPO contract from LexisNexis UK and Ireland (LexisNexis subsidiaries). As per the contract, services such as contact center, back-office, and online services will be offered to UK-based and Irish legal, tax, accounting, and corporate clients of LexisNexis. About 100 people have been recruited at Belfast-based delivery center. HCL BPO has 1,700 employees at Belfast and Armagh centers.  
    
Fidelity acquires Second Foundation BPO

Fidelity National Information Services (FIS), acquired Second Foundation, California based provider of software development and BPO services, to expand offshore outsourcing operations in India. Second Foundation operates from Chandigarh, India, Liverpool, UK, and Prague, Czech Republic with branch offices in New Jersey, Chicago and Arizona. Captive offshore delivery staff of the vendor increased by 600 employees.
    
Kenexa bags four-year outsourcing contract from Boeing

Boeing, an aerospace company, awarded Kenexa with a four-year outsourcing contract, to offer workforce survey services gathering employee feedback. Kenexa, provider of HRO services will offer employee surveys, including instrument design, administration, reporting, analysis, and behavior change recommendations.
