WNS successfully concludes the BOT deal
 
WNS announced that they had successfully completed the 'Build-Operate-Transfer' deal with Aviva. WNS transferred its F&A Services unit that employed over 300 people in Colombo to Aviva. WNS built the F&A services unit and operated it for three years before finally handing it over to Aviva.
    
Satyam wins global deals
 
Satyam Computer Services won four prominent deals in Singapore, UAE and Australia. Out of the four deals, two are from the Singapore government and focus on IT and outsourcing services. The other two deals include IT services for Emirates Bank and IT and consulting services for an Australian transport provider.  
    
Fresno Bee awards ad design deal to Express KCS
 
California-based daily, the Fresno Bee will outsource advertising production work to Express KCS. The vendor, Express KCS has centers in New Delhi and London and plans to begin work for the client from September.  
    
Satyam to focus on the engineering design segment

Satyam Computer Services is looking at acquiring high value outsourcing deals in the engineering design segment. They are already in talks for eight deals in engineering design worth $20 million to $25 million each. Out of the eight deals, two are likely to be confirmed by the fiscal year ending March 2008.  
    
Blackstone to invest hugely in India 

Blackstone, the US based private equity firm intends to use Intelenet Global Services to help set up their future ventures in the BPO and KPO segment. The company had recently acquired Intelenet for $130 million. Blackstone has a corpus of $1 billion for investments in the BPO, IT, hi-tech and communications segments.
