Hero Group buys TSC of Scotland for $8 mn RR Donnelley & Sons launched its BPO facility at the Technopark to offer financial management services and transaction processing to the US and European clients. The choice of location was due to easy access to a large group of skilled talent. TCS has clinched a multi-year pharma outsourcing deal with Roche. TCS will provide BPO services to Roche's drug development organization. Indian media puts the deal at $30-50million. TCS wants to now focus on the pharmaceutical industry. Fiserv's Costa Rican center will provide technical-support, software development and BPO services to Fiserv for its banking industry. This is Fiserv's fifth global delivery center outside US. Convergys and Telecom Egypt have signed a consulting deal for an undisclosed amount, wherein Convergys will align Telecom Egypt's billing system with the Infinys billing system. BT Group, an aggressive user of outsourcing, has signed a contract with Accenture for dealing with high-end accounting operations. Accenture will manage the project from its Indian centers. |
